schedules

     I've been at Best for a week now. Many things are different from Spain, but what I've had the hardest time getting used to is the schedules.

On a normal day in Brest I get up at 6am in the morning. I have to be ready at 6:45 to go catch the bus. I take the bus in Plouvien at 7 and arrive in Brest at 7:45.

I start classes at 8. I have 2 breaks: the first from 9:50 to 10:05 and the other from 12 to 1:30 p.m. In this last break I eat. I normally finish at 3:30 p.m.

I get home at 4:30 p.m. and have dinner most days at 8:10 p.m. Finally, I go to bed at 9:30 p.m.

                Today has been one of the most fun days I have had in Brest. In the morning I barely did anything. After eating I went with my mother and father to visit an exotic garden. Later we visited the town of Plouvien. At 5 pm we arrived home. Together with Lili and her friend I have been getting ready. We had a party at Lili-Jade's friend's house. We arrived at 7 in the afternoon and the party started immediately, although first we had dinner. At first it was a little overwhelming because I didn't know anyone, people barely spoke English and I didn't have any entertainment. But in the end I ended up talking to everyone and dancing, even though I didn't know the music. Lili-Jade's father came to pick me up at 12 at night

the mall

              The mall Today we went to the mall I got up at 12 and at 12 we leaved the house . In the bus station I met Lili Jade's friend Gladys . First we had lunch in a Mexican restaurant.The food was so good! At 2 p.m we arrived to the mall. We visited a lot of stores like Sephora , FNAC , Zara and store with movies merch. After that we went to the cinema to watch "It ends with us" . Although the movie was in French I understood and enjoyed it. Finally we bought sushi for dinner in the supermarket.I hadn't taste sushi and it was so good

Meals

              The meals are different compared to Spain. One of the things I have noticed is the amount of food we eat. In Spain, lunch has 3 meals: first, second and dessert and in France they only have the first and dessert. Also in France they only have 3 meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner while in Spain we have 5. Another different thing is that in France I have barely eaten legumes and meat is not as predominant as it is in Spain. Although I already knew this, I found myself wondering why they don't cook with olive oil. The typical foods of Bretaña are crepes , galletes, and fish, in addition to cheese. In this period of time I have tried many foods such as sushi, couscous, ramen... Thank goodness I have not eaten snails
